- The event: Principal pops conductor Michael Krajewski leads the orchestra in a revue of Broadway, pop, and jazz numbers from the Great American Songbook, focusing on tunes made popular by iconic singers Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald.
- In the role of Frank: With a voice that’s as smooth as it is sensual, Tony DeSare has charmed audiences nationwide while appearing on CBS’s Early Show and NBC’s Today Show. He’s also released three albums that made it in the Top 10 of the Billboard Jazz Albums chart.
- In the role of Ella: Brooklyn–born actress and singer Capathia Jenkins starred as Medda in the Disney production of Newsies on Broadway, and can be seen in episodes of 30 Rock, Law & Order: SVU, and The Sopranos.
