Dinner with Ex-Mobster Sal Polisi
- The Mobster: “Crazy Sal” Polisi, a real-life former mafia associate who spent more than 15 years with organized crime families in New York
- A Little History: Sal was an associate to the Gambino and Columbo families in the early ’70s. He ran the Sinatra Club in New York, which was something of a peaceful oasis (no guns allowed) for the various mob families to plan and scam.
- Serving Time: A member of Mafia Row at Lewisburg Federal Penitentiary, Sal served time alongside characters depicted in films such as American Gangster, Goodfellas, and A Bronx Tale.
- The Show: Retold through Polisi’s firsthand experiences, the show is a multimedia interactive experience. It recounts his life beginning at childhood, through the last years of the New York mafia scene, and ending with the move into Witness Protection.
- Former Mafia Associate, Author, Writer, and Producer: Sal entered the Federal Witness Protection Program in 1986 and testified in a number of Mafia-related prosecutions. He has spent the last 20 years performing and working on screenplays, alongside writers such as Mardik Martin (Raging Bull) and more. Sal’s story is retold in the book Sins of the Father, written by Nick Taylor and The Sinatra Club written by Sal with Steve Doherety.
- The Dinner: Authentic family-style Italian buffet food complements an evening of true life mob stories told by Sal and a few of his “associates.” Alcoholic drinks are available for an additional fee.
- After the Show: A personal Q&A session with Sal is followed by The FUSO Club turning into a 70’s and 80’s disco dance club. Guests are encouraged to dress in 70’s and 80’s attire for the show.
