In the past, USA Today ranked this festival as one of the top 5 over-the-top Christmas lights from across the U.S. Now, back for their third consecutive year, Lights of the World Lantern Festival has combined the age-old tradition of paper lanterns with cutting edge technology for completely new and bright displays. There will be over 65 different lantern displays that extend from 18 to 60 feet, amounting to over 10 million colorful light that showcase different cultures and civilizations from around the globe. Additional entertainment like roaming dinosaurs, carnival rides, acrobatics, and hand-made art will also be available throughout the festival. Come enjoy the largest lights and lantern festival in North America as they brightening Phoenix’s skies from December 6, 2018 through February 3, 2018 at the Arizona State Fair.

About Lights of the World Lantern Festival
One of the largest lights and lantern festival in North America will be brightening Phoenix’s skies this winter at the Arizona State Fair. Lights of the World is back with completely new, and better light displays. Combining the age-old tradition of paper lanterns with cutting-edge technology, the Lights of the World lantern displays extend from 18 to 60 feet, amounting to over 10 million colorful lights, and showcase features of different cultures and civilizations around the globe. With over 65 stunning displays, Lights of the World promises an unforgettable exploration of global cultures and cuisine. The festival also possesses a litany of other entertainment features: as visitors walk through, they'll encounter a world of surprises, including friendly, life-like dinosaurs, carnival rides, and a daily performance showcasing the Puppetone Rockers or "The Man Behind the Curtain" with Magician Matt Lemm. Artisans will also be on-site, creating unique, handmade art to commemorate the celebration.
