What You’ll Do
Most good art is “alive” in a metaphorical sense, but Liza Fiorentinos creates art that truly lives: terrariums filled with verdant, meticulously arranged plants. During this 75-minute workshop, she teaches others to do the same, guiding participants as they assemble their own terrariums. Using mood boards for inspiration, students build an environment with plants, rocks, and a choice of glass vessel—all materials are included.

Owner, Luludi Living Art Store
After 30 years in the workforce, Liza Fiorentinos liberated herself from a stifling corporate job in Paris in order to begin her own crafts shop. At her Astoria storefront, Luludi Living Art, she creates atypical living works of art, including terrariums, moss-covered shoes, and plants set in LED-lit frames. Her business has blossomed from making small pieces for individuals to producing decor for lobbies, receptions, and corporate events.
