Operating at a fluid pace, award-winning magician Mat Franco reacts to the energy and emotion of the audience in the 600-capacity Mat Franco Theater at The LINQ Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. Delivering large-scale and intimate illusions alike as part of a family friendly production, he immerses guests in world-famous signature tricks. However, there’s always room for improvisation and surprises, giving every night its own identity, ebb, and flow. Balancing a variety of magic, the show traverses an emotional spectrum akin to a concert, inciting laughter one moment, provoking thought in the next, possibly drawing a tear during another, and reigniting the energy for the closing crescendo in unpredictable, undeniable, and unprecedented form.
Since opening in 2015, the only constant is the unexpected. “Magic in Las Vegas” may have traditionally intimated “jumping out of boxes and cutting people in half,” but MAT FRANCO — MAGIC REINVENTED NIGHTLY encouraged an unparalleled and previously unseen level of intimacy. As he states, “It feels like you’re watching a friend.” If you’re in the front row, you can even rest your elbows on the stage. Nevertheless, his presence courses through every corner as he makes his way around the venue, reacting and responding to the rhythm of the room. Mat’s “Improv” allows guests to engage, whether or not they end up as part of the show (sometimes, they do). Even with full production, the finale changes nightly, responding to the cadence of the crowd in a conversation.
