What You'll Do

Usually, you put on glamorous makeup before a girls' night out. But at this beauty workshop, you'll get progressively primped as the night wears on. In her space at StudioWed, professional makeup artist Mia Johnson will teach everyone how to create a classic party look: dramatic smoky eye, bold red lips, and striking lashes. Because you'll bring along your own makeup brushes, mascara, and eyeliner, it'll be easy to recreate the look at home for future nights out on the town.

Since 2007, Mia has kept busy creating dramatic editorial looks for magazines and getting brides ready for their big days. She's even delved into the world of TV, serving as Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Kenya Moore's makeup artist and working on VH1's Love & Hip Hop and Style Network's Big Rich Atlanta.
