- The Light Trail journey takes 45 minutes to an hour to complete. Follow the one-way path at your own pace. Please note, re-entry is not permitted once you exit. The trail is outdoors, so dress comfortably and wear suitable shoes.
Does every individual need a ticket?
- Yes, all guests over the age of 2 require a ticket.
Do I need to print my ticket?
- No, we encourage using a smartphone for ticket scanning to reduce paper waste. However, printed tickets with an active barcode are also accepted.

If driving, limited parking is available for $22 on a first-come, first-served basis at the Garden’s Main Entrance (2900 Southern Blvd.) and at the NYBG Parking Garage (401 Bedford Park Blvd.) across from the Mosholu Entrance. On some peak evenings, you may be directed to park at overflow parking facilities. Follow all signs and directions from Garden personnel. Please consider taking public transit or a car service to avoid parking delays.
