Barrington Levy
The unexpected turns and danceability of a DJ set, the miles-deep roots of reggae, and the rich vocals of a singer with decades of practice—these three elements form the base of Barrington Levy's sound. Bursting into Jamaica's dancehall scene at the ripe old age of 14, Levy now totes a 30-year discography punctuated by collaborations with artists such as Shaggy ("Only You") and Snoop Dogg ("Watch Dem (Murderer)"). Levy's popularity spread from the island to the U.S. and U.K. in the mid-'80s, leading to a win in the category of Best Vocalist at Britain's Reggae Awards. He continues to record and perform, his most recent single being the pulsing declaration of romance, "Love the Way She Love Me."
Patra
Patra, born Dorothy Smith, is a Jamaican reggae singer who gained popularity in the 1990s. She is known for her powerful vocals and her fusion of reggae, R&B, and hip-hop music. Some of her most popular songs include "Worker Man," "Romantic Call," and "Pull Up to the Bumper."
Elephant Man
Based on the true story of a man with a deforming genetic disorder that made him an outcast in Victorian England, playwright Bernard Pomerance’s The Elephant Man snagged the Tony Award for Best Play after its Broadway debut in 1979. In the surrealistic script, a young doctor discovers the titular character, whose real name is John Merrick, performing as an act in a carnival freak show. The doctor rescues Merrick from the fairgrounds and takes him to his own home, where the misfit sheds light onto his artist’s soul and avoids his cruel former carnival boss. Audiences follow the talented cast through the show's thematic waters that question traditional notions of what is beautiful, what is ugly, and what is the most visually appealing width of barbed wire to tattoo onto an ankle.

He is known for his unique vocal style and his ability to blend dancehall with hip-hop and R&B music. Some of his most popular songs include "Flex," "Tek Him," and "Legacy."
