Along with all of the Royal Ontario Museum's [permanent exhibitions](http://www.rom.on.ca/en/exhibitions-galleries/exhibitions), this deal grants visitors carte blanche to experience the museum's summer highlights: * [Mesopotamia: Inventing Our World](http://www.rom.on.ca/en/mesopotamia/home): On loan from the British Museum, 170 artifacts from Sumer, Assyria, and Babylon trace the history of the region to which written language, law, and even the modern system of tracking time all owe their origins. The connection between ancient and modern cultures runs through these artifacts, as visitors take in a rare statue of King Ashurnasirpal II or discover a cuneiform copy of The Epic of Gilgamesh. * [Sebastião Salgado: Genesis](http://www.rom.on.ca/en/exhibitions-galleries/exhibitions/current-exhibitions/genesis-sebastiao-salgado): In this premiere exhibition, photojournalist Sebastião Salgado transports viewers on an eight-year photographic expedition around the planet, with stops at 32 different locations. More than 200 hauntingly beautiful and provocative photographs showcase the raw beauty of the landscapes, seascapes, and people that have escaped the destructive reach of modern society. Curated by Lélia Wanick Salgado, Genesis urges its audience to consider what is left of our planet, what is in peril, and what cries out to be saved. * [BIG](http://www.rom.on.ca/en/exhibitions-galleries/exhibitions/current-exhibitions/big): BIG showcases remarkable textiles and costumes that are each in their own way BIG, be it in size, historical importance, designer name, or price tag. The collection spans millennia, with many items being displayed publicly for the first time. * [Between Princely India and the British Raj: The Photography of Raja Deen Dayal](http://www.rom.on.ca/en/exhibitions-galleries/exhibitions/current-exhibitions/between-princely-india-and-the-british-raj-the): Produced by the studio of India's first internationally renowned photographer during the latter decades of the 19th century, this collection of stunning imagery captures the architectural heritage of India, its landscape, and its people at a dynamic turning point in the subcontinent's history.
