This scream-filled event features never-before-seen haunted houses, vile vignettes, and live performances designed to push your fears to their limits. With new special effects, lighting, sounds, and more scare performers than ever before, guests can expect spine-tingling thrills at every corner. Howl-O-Scream will run on select nights from September 27 to November 2, promising a truly terrifying experience. Keep in mind, Howl-O-Scream is a separately ticketed event that is not included with regular SeaWorld park admission.

This event is designed for a mature audience and is not recommended for children under 13.
Will the rides and attractions be open?
Yes - Electric Eel, Emperor, and Arctic Rescue will be open during Howl-O-Scream.
Will animal habitats be open?
No – animal viewing areas will not be available during Howl-O-Scream.
What is the baggage policy for Howl-O-Scream San Diego?
Bags larger than 8"x5", including purses and backpacks, are not allowed at Howl-O-Scream San Diego. Medical items may be permitted in a clear, plastic bag up to 12"x6"x12" after inspection. Guests with bags that don’t meet these requirements will need to return them to their vehicle.
