• Musiq Soulchild: In the own words of the 11-time Grammy nominee himself, “‘Musiq’ is the front man and ‘Soulchild’ is the idea behind it. It’s basically me as an artist in this generation, representing the traditions and the legacies of the past soul stars.”
• Raheem Devaughn: The son of jazz cellist Abdul Wadud, his liqueur-smooth singles “You,” “Woman,” and “Customer” sound like a mix of Babyface and Dwele.
• Al B. Sure: A Grammy-nominated singer, record producer, radio host, and actor with the sound of romance-infused new jack swing , which can be heard in chart-topping singles “Nite and Day” and “Misunderstanding”
