Syrian Shrine Circus
Now in its 92nd year under the big top, the Syrian Shrine Circus entertains audiences with whimsical animals and death-defying trapeze artists. During each show, trained tigers prowl the ring, elephants delicately shuffle their weight while performing carefully choreographed tricks, and the Shrine Circus clowns deliver informative lectures on the density of a Volkswagen Beetle. High above, aerialists mock gravity with weightless jumps and fearless acrobatics. Youthful attendees can also meet their favorite animal performers, getting the chance to pet and ride such mild-mannered creatures as camels, donkeys, and elephants.
