What You’ll Do
New York is a melting pot for cuisines from across the world, but there’s no denying the cheesy, gooey allure of its namesake thin-crust pizza. During an intimate two-hour workshop, one of Taste Buds Kitchen’s experienced chefs shows you how to spin raw ingredients into the ideal New York–style pie. At the end, everybody has a chance to kick back and enjoy the finished product.

When she was a child, Taste Buds Kitchen founder and “Chief Bud” Jessi Walter Brelsford learned that food and fun were synonymous in her family’s weekly “gourmet nights.” Today, in Taste Buds’ 750-square-foot training kitchen, more than 20 culinary pros carry on this tradition by bringing gourmet fun to kids and adults alike. While teaching proper cooking techniques, they lead pasta lessons, sushi classes, and other programs that have garnered praise from the likes of New York Magazine and the Wall Street Journal.
