The Scouting Report
With the 2014 Indoor Football League season winding down, fans can start looking to see what the future HAS in store for the Texas Revolution. Despite an underwhelming record, the Revs still posted one of the league’s most explosive offenses in 2014. Quarterback Jimmy Coy filled the air with passes directed at star receiver Clinto Solomon. With two games remaining in the season, Solomon leads the league in reception yards, receptions, and touchdowns after reeling in 21 touchdowns using all six of his hands. With season tickets, fans can cheer on the Revs at games throughout the winter and spring months.
Texas Revolution
Texas’s Indoor Football League squad migrated to the Lone Star State from Arkansas in 2011, carrying hitchhikers on their backs along the way and becoming the Allen Wranglers. In 2013, the franchise adopted its current name while remaining in Allen, where it continues to draw standout prospects from many of the region’s colleges, including the University of Texas, Texas Christian University, and the University of Oklahoma.
