Winter on the Mountain includes a tram ride up Iron Mountain; a holiday-light display with music; two cave tours; and unlimited rides on the alpine coaster, Soaring Eagle zip ride, 4-D motion theater, and Wild West-themed laser tag arena.

Winter on the Mountain is closed Mondays–Thursdays, except November 21–30 and Decmeber 19–January 4. It is also closed on Thanksgiving Day (November 27) and Christmas Day (December 25). Some rides and attractions are subject to availability and weather.

Winter on the Mountain at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park

When frost settles in and snow starts to fall, Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park offers families a fun way to beat the winter doldrums—Winter on the Mountain. Visitors hop on a tram for a scenic ride to the top of Iron Mountain before taking in a dazzling display of more than a half-million lights, a 24-foot animated Christmas tree, and other holiday displays. Here, the air fills with holiday music, and families snuggle together around outdoor fire pits while roasting s’mores and sipping hot cocoa.

Winter on the Mountain also entertains families with thrill rides such as an illuminated alpine coaster and the Soaring Eagle zip ride. The pass also grants unlimited visits to the 4-D motion theater and laser tag arena, plus tours through the historic Glenwood Caverns and Fairy Caves.
