We’re back on February 28th at The Adams Avenue Theater in Normal Heights for what will undoubtedly be our biggest Popcorn Reef Sleepover yet. It also needs to be acknowledged more often as a classic of the folk horror subgenre for any Southern Californian who has ever felt that something’s just not quite right. And the guy who made the movie? He’s a genre film legend, known for producing movie magic monuments like RE-ANIMATOR and FROM BEYOND, co-writing films like HONEY, I SHRUNK THE KIDS, and directing gruesome love stories like BRIDE OF RE-ANIMATOR and RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD 3. Join us on February 28th as we welcome director Brian Yuzna to Popcorn Reef to celebrate and discuss his opus of the bizarre, SOCIETY.
