Night of Lights OC, a magical and interactive winter wonderland drive-thru experience presented by Winter Fest OC, returns to the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa this November to provide the Southern California community with a safe, family-friendly holiday celebration. The Night of Lights OC experience guides guests through a mile-long drive-thru course filled with more than one million lights, themed holiday scenery and immersive vignettes, animated light shows, snow flurries and tunnels synchronized to music, special effects, even more interactive characters including Chase from Paw Patrol. This year, guests will enjoy many new themed experiences and immersive vignettes including a drive-in movie queue area when they arrive, featuring classic holiday movies playing and strolling entertainers offering holiday favorite treats to enjoy before starting their magical holiday journey. Additional new experiences include an interactive Santa’s Workshop with synchronized lights to music, Toyland where a toy chest is brought to life, Steam Engine Springs with model trains, and movies through Jan 2nd. Free NYE gift Light up glow sticks per vehicle while supplies last.

Night of Lights OC kicks-off the holiday season on Friday, November 26 and runs Wednesday to Sunday nights through January 2. The experience begins at 5:00pm with ticketed time slots available until 9:00pm (Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday) or 10:00pm (Friday and Saturday).

In support of CDC, State & County guidelines, the following safety measures will be in place during the event and monitored for compliance by event personnel:

Entire event is outside in the open air
EMT’s will be available for any medical emergencies
Entry to event is through online ticket purchases with limited reservations available per session, in an effort to avoid significant congestion and wait times

All guests must remain in their vehicle at all times during the event experience
Guests must only experience the event in their vehicle, guests arriving through other means such as motorcycles, bicycle, walk-ups, etc. will not be permitted
All guests must be in a seat with seatbelt, no riding in the back of a pickup vehicle
Speed limit inside the experience is 3 mph, attendants will be along the route to monitor
Compliance with these safety measures will be enforced and guests that do not follow them will be escorted out of the event without refund.

- Each General Admission ticket includes entry for (1) Vehicle (no more than 5 people) through the drive-thru experience. Must arrive at the time you redeem online. Vehicles over 8 feet tall will not be allowed. All guests must remain in their vehicles at all times during the event experience, with the exception of restrooms that are available at the beginning and end of the experience. NO BUSES, RVS, LIMOS, RAISED VEHICLES, SPRINTER VANS ALLOWED. (Vehicle height must be under 8ft and 19 feet long). Vehicles over 8 feet tall or over 19 feet long will not be allowed due to light tunnels. Guests must only experience the event in their vehicle, guests arriving through other means such as motorcycles, golf cart, bicycle, walk-ups, etc. will not be permitted. All guests must be in a seat with a seatbelt, no riding in the back of a pickup vehicle. The entire event experience is outside in the open air. The speed limit inside the experience is 3 mph, attendants will be along the route to monitor. This production includes strobe lighting fx, fog, haze and snow flurries and bubbles that will fall on your vehicle. Ticket timeslot is not a guaranteed entrance time but as a way to limit the number of capacity on property. Entry times, wait times and experience times vary based upon the speed guests spend enjoying the experience We are open rain or shine. The programming of the shows will be modified based on the rainy conditions. In the unlikely chance of thunder, wind, or lightning storms and the event is canceled, due to safety concerns, guests will receive a credit to book another night. No refunds will be available. Purchaser understands and agrees all tickets purchased are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
