Are you ready for the Best Family show – Direct from the LAS VEGAS STRIP? Who let the dogs and cats out? Gregory Popovich! I am super excited to announce that the Popovich Comedy Theatre is returning to Davis on Sunday, January 29th at 4pm for their highly acclaimed performance at The DAVIS VETERANS MEMORIAL CENTER! Popovich has rescued more than 30 abandoned pets to join him as furry stars onstage for this fun, family-friendly show! The menagerie of animals appear in acts such as the Dog Classroom, the Amazing House-Cats, the Animal Train Station, while human acrobats, mimes, and contortionists join the show. Popovich, a fourth-generation circus performer (born in Ukraine) also performs jaw-dropping juggling feats. Currently, he holds the world record in a balancing/juggling feat in which he stands atop a nine foot free standing ladder and juggles nine rings. The show is in Davis only one day, but has been in residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas since 2006 where it has been voted “Best Family Show” in Las Vegas.
