Fields of blooming tulips beckon you to this corner of northern Washington come spring, when acres of multi-colored fields beg for some camera time. You will stand before fields of intensely colored flowers. Flower fiends love this trip, but even if you don't know a tulip from a rose, the display of vibrant flowers blanketing the area will blow you away. We will visit local tulip farms and hear about how this area produces 200 million bulbs -- 75% of the nation's commercial tulip crops. Keep an eye out for wild turkeys, rainbows and snow geese. We will stop in charming La Conner for a bit of shopping time, and after indulge in a huge salmon BBQ with fresh corn, baked potatoes, salad, garlic bread and desert!
