Online Booking - Round of Golf at Cimarrone Golf Club
Routed through a beautiful northeast Florida setting of pines and marshes, the golf course at Cimarrone Golf Club is a championship layout with five sets of tees that everyone can enjoy. Designed by architect David Postlethwait, the course, which opened in 1988, measures 6,891 yards from the tips and can play as short as 4,704 yards. The layout is over moldy rolling terrain with strategically placed bunkers and marsh or water features on every hole. The course has a lot of variety, especially on the par 3s. The 11th, for example, is 215 yards, but just 98 yards from the forward tees. A lake runs down the entire left side of the hole. The 199-yard par-3 second is especially difficult, playing entirely over an elongated pond from the back tees. The par 5s aren't particularly long, but the no. 1 handicap hole, the 423-yard par-4 seventh, is both long and difficult. It's a sharp dogleg left with a long lake that comes into play off the tee on the left side. In addition to the course, semi-private Cimarrone Golf Club also has excellent practice facilities that include a range with target greens, a short-game area with a practice bunker, and putting green. There's also a golf academy that offers individual lessons and clinics. In the Cimarrone clubhouse, you'll find a well-stocked golf shop and restaurant, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Menu items range from eggs with corned beef hash to burgers to Reubens to fish and chips.
