Online Booking - Round of Golf at The Trails of Frisco Golf Club
A terrific Jeff Brauer design that's both beautiful and challenging, The Trails of Frisco is an excellent daily facility in one of the Metroplex's most dynamic communities. Brauer, one of the most respected architects in Texas, put together a par-71 course that plays nearly 7,000 yards from the tips. The course winds its way around and through creeks and lakes as water comes into play on 17 holes. The course starts out with a fairly difficult par 5 and gets even harder on the next hole. The 468-yard par-4 second is the course's no. 1 handicap hole. Not only is it brutally long, but a creek crosses the fairway in the potential landing zones, depending on which set of the four tee markers you play. Creeks come into play often on the course, including the finishing stretch, which includes a 168-yard par 3 16th, 468-yard par-4 17th (which also has a pond that must be passed on the tee shot), and the monster 576-yard, par-5 18th, where a creek crosses in front of the green. In addition to the course, The Trails of Frisco also has excellent practice facilities. They include a full grass driving range, short-game practice area and putting green. Golf lessons are also available. And inside The Trails' beautiful clubhouse, you'll find a well-stocked golf shop as well as The Trails Bar & Grill. Open every day for breakfast and lunch, the menu includes breakfast burritos, brisket quesadillas, burgers, and pulled pork sandwiches.
