Online Booking - Round of Golf at Timbercreek Golf Club
A wonderful 27-hole layout located on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay, TimberCreek Golf Club is anything but typical coastal golf. Designed by Earl Stone and opened in 1993, the three nines make their way through wetlands preserves and a forest of dogwoods, magnolias, pines, and wildflowers. There are five sets of tees on the course, and each of the 18-hole combinations is close to 7,000 yards from the tips with the Magnolia/Dogwood combo at nearly 7,200 yards. The rolling fairways are spacious, there are plenty of bunkers and water features, and the greens are large, undulating and always in good shape. The toughest hole at TimberCreek might be the long par-4 second on the Magnolia Course. At 448 yards from the back tees and water to the right and out of bounds left, par is always a great score here. The ninth on Dogwood, the finishing hole for the 18-hole combination, is no slouch either. Another long par 4, the ninth is a slight dogleg left with a fairway bunker on the left and tight, tree-lined fairway to a well-protected green. In addition to the course, Timber Creek Golf Club has great practice facilities that include a driving range, short-game area and practice putting green. Golf lessons are also available from the pro staff. The clubhouse features a well-stocked golf shop with the latest in apparel, accessories and equipment. And the Bar & Grill at TimberCreek is open seven days a week, serving a variety of sandwiches, salads, and starters.
