Everything at Gourmet Garden looks good—in every sense of the phrase. At the entrance, greenery and red accents pop handsomely against dark wood paneling. In the dining room, open ceilings seem to stretch high above tufted leather booths. This all serves as a mere backdrop, though, to the beautifully plated dishes. Fresh flowers and julienne carrots color a ring of oysters served on ice. Bamboo sushi mats are twisted into sculptures for the "party boats", colorful spreads of maki, nigiri, and sashimi that feed up to six people or one extremely hungry caterpillar.

The pan-Asian menu features plenty more than sushi, however. Guests can sear their own meats on a hot stone grill for ishiyaki entrees, and the chef's specialties range from hong kong shrimp to chicken pad thai. Beyond the diversity of cuisines, the menu accommodates many tastes thanks to organic, gluten-free, and sugar-free options.
