- The Smile Protection Plan (SPP) is not insurance. This is a licensed discount dental plan. SPP provides discounts only at Great Expressions Dental Centers for dental services. SPP does not make payments directly to the providers of dental services. Patients will be required to pay for all health care or dental services but will receive a discount from Great Expressions Dental Centers, who have contracted with The CDl Group, Inc. Members will have 30 days after the effective date of enrollment to cancel their plan if they have not utilized and received discounts under the plan. Voucher must be present at time of office dental visit. The plan may not be used in conjunction with patient insurance. One take-home whitening kit per Smile Protection Plan voucher purchase, if applicable. Discounts vary by state. This voucher is only redeemable at participating Michigan Great Expressions Dental Centers locations. Value of savings for exams and X-rays with the Smile Protection Plan for 18 months are based on one examination every 6 months per individual. Value of savings is used for illustration purposes only. Actual savings may vary depending upon frequency of use. Six-month extension begins immediately after the end of the 12-month plan. See Smile Protection Plan website for more details.
