Dr. Fred Guerra's commitment to offering patients "a caring, gentle touch" grows out of a lifelong dedication to serving others. Dr. Guerra joined the Air Force after graduating from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1976; his military career culminated in a post as the director of dental services at the United States Air Force Academy. Today, he gives back to the community by supporting organizations that help victims of domestic violence and conducting annual volunteer efforts on behalf of the Give Kids a Smile program, which provides underserved children with free dental care.

Dr. Guerra's patient-centered, compassionate approach to dentistry is also reflected in the office's many amenities, including pillows and blankets, iPods and flat-screen TVs, and soothing music. To further promote guests' comfort, he uses the latest technological advancements. He is one of the few dentists in the country to use a powerful surgical microscope during root canals and other services that require increased visibility. Dr. Guerra is also an avid golfer and fitness enthusiast, which enhances his ability to custom-fit Under Armour mouth guards for athletes in contact sports or technicians who repair batting-cage pitching machines.
