A lazy river moseys through Gulf Islands Waterpark, carrying kids and adults from one exciting attraction to the next. For the fastest and darkest plunge down a slide, visitors hop off at the Deer Island Express, a ride that sends single or double tubes down 357 feet of closed tunnel at a 38-foot incline. To enjoy the thrill with more people, they head to the Camille Cutter, an 84" open flume that runs more than 400 feet long and fits a rafting-type tube filled with four people at once.

Though many of these exhilarating rides have a 42" height requirement, the water park features a variety of other attractions made for visitors of all ages, including:

• Waveland Wave Pool: Waves unfurl along the length of this 12,000-square-foot pool, mimicking the experience of being at the beach.
• Ship Island Wreck: Kid-friendly slides welcome children two years old and up, as well as parents who want to accompany them on the way down.
• Pelican's Bay: A playground featuring water cannons, massive squirt guns, body slides, and a shallow wading pool lets little ones and their imaginations run wild.
