About Guthrie Bicycle

When Louis Manwaring purchased Guthrie Bicycle Co. in 1926, the shop had already been manufacturing cycles for almost four decades. Now, as penny farthings have made way for mountain bikes and cruisers, Guthrie Bicycle continues to stand as one of the oldest bicycle shops in the United States.

Each day at Guthrie Bicycle, Manwaring’s own great-grandson, Richard Goddard, leads the shop crew as they service all brands of bicycles and outfit riders from a stock of thousands of parts, wheels, tires, tubes, and helmets. In addition to complete overhauls and repairs, the team administers bike fittings to determine your ideal riding position.
