About Hawaii Ocean Project
Hawaii Ocean Project is locally owned and operated, and has guided its guests on sea-faring adventures for over 35 years and is located at the far north end of Lahaina’s historic harbor. All their vessels are Coast Guard certified, with the Kaulana holding up to 100 passengers, and the Lahaina Princess up to 80 passengers, but often less. Its eco-friendly cruises partner up with scientific marine research groups to help preserve the local sea-life habitats and give back to the community that it loves. Captain Dave Jung, President and Senior Captain of the Hawaii Ocean Project joined them in 1970 and has contributed immensely to the growth and commitment to the community.
