During the New Yorker tour, copters take sightseers over New York Harbor and get so close to the Statue of Liberty that passengers can see her perfectly sculpted nose hairs. The chopper then takes in views of famous locations such as the Empire State Building, Central Park, and the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. The ultimate tour extends the sightseeing as it cruises up the Hudson River toward the George Washington Bridge and over landmarks such as Columbia University and Yankee Stadium (on non-game days). The trained staff at Helicopter Flight Services takes joy in the look on their guests' faces as they experience New York City from a vantage point few ever get to experience. Journeys begin at the Downtown Manhattan Heliport, flying by the Brooklyn Bridge and Governor’s Island before passing by the Statue of Liberty and the skyscrapers of the financial district, home to The New York Stock Exchange. Then, guests see the famous Empire State and Chrysler buildings, before continuing above the Hudson River to Central Park.
On the return to the landing pad at Downtown Manhattan Heliport, guests will see Madison Square Garden, Hudson Yards, Chelsea, West Village, Soho, and Tribeca, as well as the September 11 memorial and Freedom Tower, as well as catching a second glance of the Empire State Building and another pass by the Statue of Liberty.
For the 12-15 minute option guests will turn around at 72nd street or on the 17-20 minute option your flight will pass by all of Central Park to fly north over the George Washington Bridge seeing Yankee Stadium from a distance and the NJ Palisades.
