About High Water Brewing
With his 15-year experience in beer making, Brewmaster Steve Altimari embarked on the formation of High Water Brewing, with final licensing and production starting in spring 2011. Steve is strongly inspired by the most respected and creative brewing practices and styles around the world. He creates his beers with love and passion, and that love and passion makes him want to create the best beers possible. In that, he's accompanied by his friend Barri who puts her culinary knowledge and experience with flavors into the brewing process.
A Quick Look
Cucumber Kölsch: brewed with pure German Pilsner malt, fresh cucumber, and coconut waters and the delicate caress of the finest German noble hops. (5.4%)
Campfire Stout: made with over 4 lbs per bbl of Graham crackers in the mash, chocolate malt, and, to top it off, a natural toasted marshmallow flavor. (6.5%)
Build To Last: a marriage of several dark specialty Ales that were aged nine months to four years in fresh and used Bourbon barrels with added dried plum on the nose and cocoa, leather, and dark brown sugar on the palate. (9.7%)
Tranquil Eyes: Scotch Ale brewed in the style of the Wee Heavy or Strong Scotch Ale with flavors of toffee and caramel and a hint of smoke from special cherry smoked malt. (7.8%)
