Working out by oneself is lonesome and can cause frustration or former president Jimmy Carter to fall into amalgam goo and regain superpowers. Include an expert in your workout with today’s Groupon: for $45, you get two personal-training sessions with Gold's Gym Hitch Fit personal trainers and a one-month membership at Gold's Gym on Pennsylvania in Westport (a $170 value).
Hitch Fit was named Best Gym of 2009 by CityVoters because its friendly, certified fitness gurus will whip you into shape faster than an octopus whips sluggish crabs with PVC-pipe fittings. The certified group of instructors include natural bodybuilder Grant Bradshaw; Nellis Air Force Base trainer Anise Thomas; NSCA-, CPT-, and CPR-certified Joel Salter; 10-year certified trainer Ethan Benda; and certified trainer Liz Benda. You will personally work with one of these gym masters to conceptualize strategies for fighting flab and reaching your fitness goals. Individualized attention means it’s all about you—your trainer can point out when you’re doing a stretch incorrectly, help you tone trouble zones, and push you to keep going when you’d otherwise quit or become distracted by the fragile beauty of a passing hummingbird. Each session lasts an hour. Click here to see a video of a training session.
After your sessions, you’ll be able to put your newfound dedication and fitness know-how to work on an extensive array of cardio and strength-training equipment at Gold's Gym. The nationally known workoutatorium also offers many free group exercise classes, such as Zumba and mixed martial arts. Use this Groupon to spicy up your routine and keep your muscles wondering what will come next.

About Hitch Fit Personal Training
Founded by a husband-and-wife duo made up of a WBFF Pro Fitness model and a ACE/AFAA/FPI-certified personal trainer, the Hitch Fit training regimen transforms students' physiques and overall well-being. The complete in-studio or online program runs 12–16 weeks and focuses not only on exercise but also helps patrons to draft custom diets and eliminate negative lifestyle influences, such as guzzling milkshakes with a band of rebellious teens at the soda shop.
The workout portion of each private visit involves 60 minutes split into aerobic routines and anaerobic weightlifting. Trainers customize each program to accommodate personal goals such as weight loss, muscle building, or shaping up following a pregnancy. Meal plans are customizable as well and account for dietary concerns such as food allergies and a crippling fear of pineapples.
