• Five Mini Adventures: One Unique Horseback Riding Experience For Two

Set against the beautiful backdrop of our ranch in Niagara, this private ride for two lets you and your riding partner immerse yourselves in nature while bonding over a shared adventure. With just the two of you and your guide, you’ll enjoy a personalized ride through pastures, woodlands, trails and arenas—making memories every step of the way.

Bonding with your horse: Forget the ordinary trail ride where the only thing you know about your horse is their name. You’ll meet your horse, learn about their unique personality as well as brush and help saddle them for your ride.

Riding in our arenas: Feel the thrill as you saddle up in our arena. Guided by friendly instructors, you’ll refine your Western riding skills and build confidence in a supportive environment.

Riding Through A Naturally Beautiful Trail: Soak in the serenity of nature from your elevated vantage point. Our winding trail provides you the opportunity for relaxation and connection with your horse. The gentle sway of the trees, the soft rustle of leaves underfoot, and the occasional glimpse of local wildlife all contribute to your immersive experience.

Riding with Texas Longhorn Cattle: Experience the charm of the Wild West as you ride alongside majestic Texas Longhorn cattle. Admire their distinctive horns and gentle demeanor as you capture unforgettable moments against a backdrop of the Niagara countryside.

Obstacle Park: Team up with your horse as you navigate through fun and engaging features in our obstacle park. You’ll showcase agility and teamwork, adding a touch of excitement and uniqueness to your ride.

To ensure we start on time, arrive 20 minutes early to allow for check-in, waivers and any necessary preparations. As this experience can accommodate up to five, additional guests may join you. To experience this ride with just your party, please book all five spaces.

Due to the complex nature of scheduling a working ranch, all sales are final.

Food & Drink

While we do not currently offer food and drinks for sale at the ranch, we provide complimentary water and granola bars for our visitors. We recommend bringing any additional food or beverages you may need during your time at Humberstone. No alcohol.

Dress Code

Dress comfortably and in layers for the weather. Ideal clothing includes jeans or long (not loose) pants as well as jackets or shirts without hoods. In the summer, t-shirts or tank tops are fine. In the winter, thin gloves are optional but no mittens.

Boots with a bit of a heel or traditional cowboy boots are preferred to ensure your feet stay secure in the stirrups. No flip flops, sandals or Crocs. No jewelry that can get caught in the horse’s tack.

Helmets

All guests under 18 must wear a helmet, without exception. For adults, helmets are very much encouraged and provided on site.

If an adult does not wish to wear a helmet, they are required to sign a waiver.

Requirements

For the security of our guests and our animals, on this experience:

• At least 8 years of age

• Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult

• Max 250lbs

• Bring a great attitude

• No smoking on entire premises

• No drinking alcohol beforehand

• No riding experience necessary

Weather

Humberstone Ranch is a four-season facility. In the event of inclement weather, experiences will be held inside our indoor arena.

Photos

For safety, you can’t take photos or use your phone while riding. But don’t worry, we’ll provide lots of photo opportunities at designated times!
