In addition to this busy calendar of practices and performances, the complex offers plenty of time for casual public skates. Should novices desire to advance their skills, the skating academy's instructors can help pupils of all ages and abilities reach their goals—whether those include nailing a triple axle or becoming the first person to circumnavigate the globe on figure skates. The hockey club also caters to athletes at different levels with free learn-to-skate lessons for beginners and organized leagues for more competitive players. Birthday party rooms, a video-game arcade, and a pro shop filled with jerseys and gear round out the extensive facilities.
