Illinois Concealed Carry Training
These classes are taught by highly trained ISP Certified police professionals with teaching credentials.
Your 16 hour class will include; our Money back Guarantee if you fail the live range qualification, Illinois and Florida training for 39 State reciprocity, a copy of Concealed Carry Class Review, and Self-Defense Legal Plan information.
We provide the firearm, ammunition, targets and safety equipment needed to qualify on the live range. No F.O.I.D. card is needed to take the class.
Every gun owner in the Chicago area should take this class regardless of whether or not they are applying for a concealed carry license. Take this class to get the knowledge you'll need to survive a self-defense incident. The legal portion of this class is an absolute must to understand Illinois law as it pertains to a valid claim of self-defense. If you don't know your rights, you don't have any, and if you don't know the rules you cant play by them.
This class will cover:
1. Emphasis on 430 ILCS 66/10(h) which includes instruction on the appropriate and lawful interaction with law enforcement while transporting or carrying a concealed firearm.
2. Emphasis on 430 ILCS 66/65 which includes instruction on prohibited areas and the parking lot exception.
3. The FOID Act 430 ILCS 65/1 et. seq.
4. Relevant portions of the ILCS including but not limited to
5. 720 ILCS 5/7-1. Use of force in defense of a person
6. 720 ILCS 5/7-2. Use of force in defense of dwelling
7. 720 ILCS 5/7-3. Use of force in defense of other property
8. 720 ILCS 24/1 et. seq. Unlawful Use of Weapons
Students will be able to define dwelling, aggressor, forcible felony and the unlawful use of weapons pursuant to the Illinois Compiled Statutes
Range Fee, Fingerprints and Illinois State Police License Fees are not included.
Registration starts 45 minutes prior to class. Absolutely no admittance after class starts.
