    Raised in a show business family—both of his parents were clowns with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey—Spencer Horsman has been performing since learning his first magic trick at age 4. An escape artist in the vein of Houdini, Horsman dazzles audiences with hair's-breadth breakouts from dangerous contraptions, distracting nail-biting show-goers with laughter from his self-deprecating wit and charming onstage banter.

    His daring feats were recently featured on America's Got Talent, where he won unanimous "yes" votes from the judges for escaping a straightjacket while suspended upside-down between a spring-loaded spike trap that was only secured by a rapidly burning rope.

About Illusions Magic Bar & Lounge

Even if they were not apprised beforehand, guests at Illusions Bar and Theater would quickly realize that they were in no ordinary watering hole. The venue is the brainchild of world-renowned escape artist and comedy magician Spencer Horsman and his late father, Ken Horsman, a former Ringling Bros. Circus clown and showbiz veteran. Typical evenings see patrons sipping on specialty cocktails, wine, and beer at an art-deco-style bar before moving on to an intimate theater for a 90 minute interactive comedy magic show presented by Spencer Horsman as seen on America’s Got Talent. A unique evening for dates, birthdays, anniversaries, and special events.
