The process of colon hydrotherapy can seem intimidating, but the treatment is straightforward, simple, and potentially revitalizing. During the procedure, a disposable speculum or nozzle is inserted into the rectum to dispense a steady stream of water, which rushes through the colon to clear out waste materials.
