Welcome to Groupon, Macon! For our inaugural deal, $15 at Ingleside Village Pizza. Since this is everyone's first Groupon, allow us to briefly explain how it works.
How Groupon Works
Groupon is a combination of the words group and coupon. Each day, we offer an unbeatable deal on the best of Macon: restaurants, spas, sporting events, theater, and more. By promising businesses a minimum number of customers, we get discounts you won't find anywhere else. We call it "collective buying power."
If you want to get the deal, just click BUY before the offer ends at midnight. If the minimum number of people (5 for today's deal) sign up by the end of the day, you'll be emailed a gift certificate the next morning. You can print your Groupons, or redeem them with our mobile app. Use them whenever you want until the deal expires—today's expires in 6 months. If not enough people join, no one gets the deal (and you won't be charged), so invite your friends to make sure you get the discount!
Today's Deal
While pizza's structural innovation of using tomato sauce to stick toppings to bases has long inspired architecture, its practicality couldn’t deter the Egyptians from gnawing on the Sphinx’s pepperoni-studded features. Taste this tangy adhesive at work with today's Groupon: for $7, you get $15 worth of pizza, subs, and salads at Ingleside Village Pizza. Today’s deal is only valid at the Ingleside Avenue location, and is not valid on alcohol.
Hand-tossed pizzas in the New York tradition grace plates and fill mouths at Ingleside Village Pizza, where the kitchen's dauntless crust-crafters make their own dough on-site. Unfurl Ingleside's menu to survey a field of build-your-own pizza possibilities that await to fulfill your careful calculations of concentric comestibility. Slices start at $1.75, with $0.50 added for each topping, while 12-inch pizzas run $7.25, with an additional $1 charge for every sprinkling of pepperoni, pineapple, green peppers, or crushed Legos. Comforting turkey club sandwiches ($6.25) and large Caesar salads ($4.75) are on-hand to support diners grown faint from watching dough-plates spin endlessly on the tips of employees' fingers. Ingleside sports a warm, eclectic atmosphere filled with bright lights and novelty decorations strung from the ceiling, though guests who prefer a more demure dining space, or harbor a childhood fear of disco balls, can opt to take their fresh pie to go.
