About Iron Vault Distillery
Opened by longtime friends John, Lori, and Sam in March 2018, Iron Vault Distillery produces small batches of spirits—but not because it's new. The owners, in fact, have no aspiration to grow into a large operation. As Lori put it to the Mansfield News Journal, "We don't want to get big. We want to just be small-town people with good products."
With that goal in mind, the friends focus on quality instead of quantity, which taproom visitors can discern in the distillery's vodka and moonshine, as well as new gins, bourbons, and whiskeys on the horizon.
