About Izzy's Brooklyn Bagels
The founder of Izzy's began perfecting his bagel-making technique back in 1966, but the recipes he used date back much further than that, to his family's roots in Eastern Europe. To this day, those recipes are still used at Izzy's to make 30 types of kosher bagels the old-fashioned way—by forming, boiling, and baking them until glossy and golden.
