Although tea has been a popular drink for centuries, NASA engineers are confident it will be phased out entirely once they've streamlined the production of dark matter nog. Enjoy a hot cuppa before it's upstaged by delicious theoretical particles with today's Groupon. For $15, you get $30 worth of teas, wine, and fine cuisine at Jessica's Tea Room at Weaversville Inn, which was named Best Tea Room by both the Morning Call and Lehigh Valley.

Owner, chef, and Lehigh Valley native Mark Prostko has crafted a menu of Pennsylvania-influenced American cuisine, complemented with more than 60 flavors of tea. Diners can begin with an order of scones & tea ($6.95) with strawberry jam and Devonshire cream. Otherwise, point a raised pinkie to the high tea (up to $23.95), which includes a scone, bread, soup, finger sandwiches garnished with edible flowers, pastries, and a choice of entree like the Yankee Pot Roast ($17.50), a dandy dish of slowly braised beef and oven roasted mashed potatoes For lighter fare, get nutty with a pistachio crusted goat cheese and spinach salad ($6.95) or a cold ham and swiss sandwich ($8.95), served on multi-grain ciabatta and dressed in the fruited finery of an apricot barbecue spread. Once you've thoroughly wetted your kettle whistle, graduate to something stronger with a lush wine from the full service bar.

Built in 1835, the historic Weaversville Inn sets a stately scene for Jessica's award-winning tea room. Fine china, delicate lace, and damask linens create a tasteful look and feel, while a polychrome floral motif permeates the room with fragrant charm. Victorian woodwork and lampposts help patrons recreate the genteel tranquility that 19th Century Londoners enjoyed in between deducing mysteries from their armchair.
