About Jim Loewer Glass

Jim Loewer behind Jim Loewer Glass has tried many career paths in his life including painting, taught art in a juvenile jail, worked on a fishing boat, and got a J.D., but he kept returning to glass. He loves turning solid glass into a liquid and back again and experimenting with new ways of adding color, shaping glass, and pushing the boundaries of size for lamp-working.

The studio is conveniently located in the building’s 60-plus art studios and blocks from the Italian market and bring inspiration to all creative minds who are willing to try making their own glass art encouraged by dedicated Jim who supports each of his students during the whole creation process and always makes sure the workshops are a fun experience.
