About Julian Thomas DMD PA
Dr. Thomas is a graduate of the Citadel with a BS degree in Business Administration. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina receiving honors from the Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry Departments and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Epsilon, the dental honor fraternity. After graduating from dental school he joined the United States Navy and completed a General Practice Residency at Oakland Naval Hospital in Oakland California. He served as Department Head on the USS New Orleans from 1992-1995 before entering into private practice in Greenwood, SC. He is a long-time member in good standing with America Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, and American Association of Operative Dentistry and maintains membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He is a former member of the Emerald City Rotary Club and served as Club President from 2004-2005. He is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and a Rotary Benefactor. He was instrumental in the development of the Greater Greenwood United Ministries free clinic and provided care there for many years.
