Dr. Kara—a former college basketball player—was educated at Parker University's College of Chiropractic. During her clinical internship, she spent three months in Bogota, Columbia as a member of the Colombian Olympic committee, where she provided chiropractic care to athletes and the actors who play them on TV. She finished up her education with certifications in active-release technique, Webster technique, Graston technique, and kinesiotape, all of which are performed on a daily basis at her own practice. She also specializes in helping expectant mothers find relief from discomfort with prenatal massages.
