Sleuths and criminal masterminds alike will delight in today’s thrilling whodunit of a deal. For just $40, you can get swept up in the intrigue at Keith & Margo’s Ultimate Mystery Dinner Adventure, normally $69. You’ll get hors d’oeuvres, an elegant three-course meal, and an interactive murder mystery experience at Dallas’s landmark Old Mill Inn. Choose from any of the following Fridays for the sinister dinners: 9/4, 9/11, 10/30, or 11/6.

Fill your pockets with red herrings as you mill about the rustic old-time mill, nibbling on fruit and cheese. Deceive the masses with your suspicious behavior or sniff out the culprit as she plots her upcoming murder. The undercover actors and actresses among you will play their parts to the end, and you can linger on the edges of the party, or attract attention with your enigmatic behavior.

The action ensues, and clues unfold over dinner. The typical menu at Old Mill Inn features a caesar salad, a dual entree of salmon with lemon caper sauce and chicken Wellington, wild rice pilaf, and fresh asparagus. Call ahead to request a vegetarian option, and be sure to let the shady waiters know that you’re allergic to arsenic. Don’t be surprised if a detective interrupts your enjoyment of the homemade pie with a third-degree interrogation.

At the end of dinner, everyone will have a chance to make their accusations, and those who come closest to solving the crime or suggest the most hilarious scenarios will take prizes. As Halloween approaches, be sure to keep an eye out for the Old Mill’s resident ghost, as something spookier than murder may be afoot.
