Kelsey See Canyon Vineyards is the definition of a family business. Started by the husband-and-wife team of Dick and Dolores Kelsey, the operation has grown over the decades to encompass their sons, grandchildren, and even a few cousins. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes are grown on the See Canyon property, while Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Zinfandel come from their son Richard's ranch in Creston.

The idea of family is so wrapped up in the business, the Kelseys even want to spend their holidays there. The tasting room and picnic grounds, which are home to a flock of more than 100 peacocks, are open year-round, including Christmas and New Year's (with shorter hours).
