When you first show up to Kinsman Dive Team you will meet the main instructor, David Kinsman. David has been teaching most of his adult life. He was a jump master in the 82nd Airborne and got thousands of paratroopers safely to the ground. David has had many jobs instructing in the military as well as a college professor. He has 19 diving certifications! After a short introduction to scuba diving, there will be a hands-on seminar about the gear and equipment. (All gear and equipment are provided by Kinsman Dive Team) Basic diving skills will also be covered. After that, it's time to get into the water! Kinsman Dive Team provides a pool built specifically for dive training. In the water, the student will learn how to clear the mask, regulator recovery, and neutral buoyancy. The class will end with the students enjoying underwater games putting their new skills into action!
