Two Art or/and Ceramic Classes

Our creative and original art classes offer a fun atmosphere, where kids gain knowledge about art history, rules of drawing and ceramics, and discover their own ability to express themselves through art. Because of our small group classes, our students learn social skills by working in groups and helping one another, all while focusing on creating and crafting their own art.  

KinderArt Group Class (Ages: 3 – 5 Years) 45min: Our KinderArt program is designed for young artists to be introduced to beginner art elements hands on. Class will consist of instructor guided canvas drawing combined with painting. It will also focus on fine motor skills water color elements and creative age appropriate murals throughout the course. The class will also be focusing on sensory development while using play-doh to create a fun and elevated molding experience.

Ceramics Group Class (Ages: 6 – 11 Years) 60min: Students will be introduced to building with clay. Emphasis will be placed on the design elements: line, shape, texture and color. Focus will be on the hand building techniques; pinch, coil and slabs. Functional as well as sculptural applications will be explored.

Painting and Drawing Group Class (Ages: 5 – 11 Years) 60min: Students will be introduced to art hands on. In these classes students learn different textures, and are exposed to multiple types of media. They will be working with elements such as paper and tempera paint. Students will gain a deeper knowledge in art history as well as the rules in drawing and painting.
