Unlike many ancient traditions, yoga techniques are never practiced in togas and do not incorporate kegs into the standing poses. Enjoy flexible benefits sans hazing with today's deal: for $35, you get four drop-in classes, plus one week of unlimited yoga, at Laughing Buddha Yoga Center in Bayside (a $110 value).
Laughing Buddha's broad battery of yoga disciplines is perfect for the beginning bender or wayward yogi returning to the flexible fold. The classes contain a broad-spectrum sampling of the yoga-style frequencies, with challenging and encouraging sessions designed to coax a tiny love of posing out into the open, where it can grow into a full-fledged warrior. Hop in on hot yoga to sweat your way through a chain of 26 poses in 100-plus degree temperatures, or start out with a gentle Vinyasa/Hatha course to establish a sound foundation on which to build your knowledge. Experienced students can commence with non-heated Vinyasa/Ashtanga classes, flowing through the sun-salutation-centered techniques for powerful core work, or the decentralized flow of hot Vinyasa, the antidisestablishmentarian of the yoga world. After wrapping up your initial four drop-in classes ($20 each), pack in a week of unlimited yoga sessions ($30 value for one trial week).
Laughing Buddha's experienced instructors strive to provide the best possible environment to foster the introspective and meditative environment essential to yoga—cool down before or after class with a shower, take in views of Long Island Sound from the studio, and learn from their nonjudgmental, enthusiastic devotion to all things yoga. Check the schedule and call to reserve a spot.
Valid for new students only. Not valid for private or Inside Out classes; non-transferrable.

About Be Yoga (Prev Laughing Buddha Yoga Center)
After falling in in love with not only yoga's physical benefits but also its total body and mind conditioning, co-founders Donna Janeira and Claudia Lanzetta helped establish Be Yoga. The studio's location overlooks Long Island Sound, reflecting the peacefulness of the rippling water with glowing burnished-wood floors. Students work at their own pace before sleek mirrors to further their yoga or fitness training. Students can also choose to pursue the studio's ample non-yoga classes, which include barre workouts wherein students learn to perform muscle-lengthening stretches while supporting themselves with a ballet barre.
