Impress your friends by forcing your children to build an exact replica of the Declaration of Independence out of LEGOs with today's Groupon to LEGOLAND Discovery Center. For $8 you get a general admission ticket to the Discovery Center (tickets are normally $19 for adults and $15 for kids). With the extra cash, spoil your kids with LEGO building sets, which can help their reasoning, planning, and hand-eye coordination. LEGOLAND is perfect for a day with your child, nephew, little sibling, or physical therapist.
Marvel in a theme park-esque world dedicated to plastic blocks. See the city of Chicago made entirely out of LEGOs at Miniland. Take the factory tour and learn how LEGO bricks are made (you get one LEGO factory brick to take home). Ride on the back of a green dragon through a medieval castle full of moving characters made entirely of LEGOs, and continue the adventure through a jungle trail. Build and test your own LEGO cars and buildings, then test them to see if they can withstand earthquakes or set speed records on LEGO roadways. After you take in a movie at the 4D cinema, let your little ones spend their energy in physical play or on the Technicycle, new to LEGOLAND this year, before it's time to load up the car.
Go during weekends in October for brick-or-treating, which features a LEGO pumpkin made from more than 5,000 plastic bricks and a haunted trail. Visit during the winter holidays to make LEGO decoration and to see Santa and snowmen models. If you go on Saturday or Sunday, head over in the morning or in the late afternoon when it's not as busy—you might have to wait before entering if there's a crowd. Please note that it usually takes about two hours to see all the attractions.

Check out LEGOLAND Discovery Center on YouTube. Although Yelpers only give LEGOLAND 2.5 stars, many complained about the steep admission costs, which today's deal helps relieve.
- We walked in to the right through the room that has a model of Chicago. It was so cool! We even saw Batman hanging out way up on the Sears Tower. – Franklin D.
- I think that if your child likes Legos, this is a great place to take them...It is a good way to pass time once winter hits if you need a place to for your child to get their ya yas out. – Amaliya L.
- I finally made into the Discovery center proper , and we all seemed to really enjoy it...The Lego Chicago land diorama was probably one of the cooler things I've seen in recent memory. – Renato P.
