One helmet and two wheels are all you need to fulfill Lone STAR Bikers' mission of fostering skillful and safe motorcycle riding. At multiple locations, MSF-certified instructors impart fundamentals to students during motorcycle licensing classes, which cover classroom work and hands-on practice in a controlled environment. These lessons can be taken for both motorcycles and scooters, with Lone STAR providing bikes ranging from 50 to 492 ccs for students to practice on. While their licensing class is necessary for obtaining a Texas motorcycle license, the center also offers advanced classes for anyone who already knows how to ride a bike, but isn't sure how to safely place a baseball card between the spokes.
